Hull City vs Sheffield Wednesday match preview
Two sides eyeing a swift bounce-back result are set to lock horns in a Championship clash at the MKM Stadium this Saturday, August 12th.
The matchup in question will see Hull City act as hosts, in a meeting with Sheffield Wednesday.
Beginning with the former, Hull, for those who may have missed it, were denied what would have come as a solid opening day point in heartbreaking fashion last weekend.
This came as the Tigers made the trip to Carrow Road, before taking a surprise lead courtesy of loanee Liam Delap with just over a quarter of an hour on the clock.
From here, Norwich levelled things up on the stroke of the interval, with proceedings having from here looked as though they were primed to peter out into a draw.
A full six minutes into injury-time, however, Adam Idah popped up with a Norwich winner, breaking the hearts of the travelling Hull faithful in the process.

Turning attentions towards Saturday’s visitors to the MKM, Sheffield Wednesday are also fresh off a narrow defeat on opening day.
And, like in the case of their upcoming opponents, this only came about owing to a last-gasp winner.
The Owls, for their part, were afforded a tough task in their first outing back in England’s 2nd tier, welcoming relegated Southampton to Hillsbrough last Friday.
And yet, despite being utterly dominated when it came to possession and chances created alike, Wednesday, almost, escaped with a share of the spoils.
After Lee Gregory cancelled out Adam Armstrong’s early opener, the scoreline stayed at a goal apiece through the 87th-minute.
Quality, however, ultimately proved telling, as Che Adams struck at the death, to condemn Xisco’s men to the wrong side of the result.
And we at 101 do not envision Wednesday faring much better this weekend, either, backing Hull City to ultimately emerge from the MKM Stadium with all three points.
