Match preview: Birmingham vs Huddersfield Town

Birmingham City started the season in impressive fashion as they earned a draw with Luton Town.

John Eustace’s side took home a point from Kennilworth Road to start the season on the right foot.

They managed to keep out last season’s play-off semi-finalists to secure a point in a goalless draw.

The Blues will be hoping for a much better season after their last campaign saw them finish 20th.

Eustace is the new manager at the helm following the departure of Lee Bowyer.

Birmingham fans will be pleased with what they saw on Saturday as they weathered the storm to take a share of the spoils.

Huddersfield Town beaten by Burnley

The Terriers were the first team to be beaten by Vincent Kompany’s new-look Burnley side.

The Clarets produced some sensational football on the opening night of the season.

Kompany’s team won 1-0 at the John Smith’s Stadium, as Huddersfield got off their new campaign to the worst possible start.

Despite only losing a goal to nil, Danny Schofield were unable to really lay a glove on Burnley.
