Blackpool's last two results have been pretty impressive with a draw against Luton and a big win over Birmingham.

Neil Critchley's team earned a point away at Luton after thrashing Birmingham 6-1.

On Tuesday, they travel to Barnsley, who have already been confirmed as relegated.

Following a difficult start to life at Blackpool since arriving in January, Beesley has finally been able to start back to back matches in his last two appearances.

The striker netted a brace against Birmingham, in the Seasiders' 6-1 win.

He is now expected to be given a third start in a row on Tuesday evening.

Barnsley have been relegated to League 1.

The Tykes' fate was secured as they lost 2-1 away at Huddersfield Town.

Callum Styles netted a late consolation but two first-half goals from the hosts proved to be too much.

Poya Asbaghi's team are now rock bottom of the table and 11 points adrift of safety.

Blackpool hold Luton Town to draw

Blackpool managed to earn an impressive draw against Luton Town.

The Seasiders halted the momentum of the promotion chasers as they drew 1-1.

Critchley's side secured an equaliser in the second half through Gary Madine's penalty.

In the game prior, they won 6-1 against Birmingham City and are now 16th in the table.
