Two late goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic helped PSG smash Sochaux 5-0 on Saturday night in Ligue 1, and one of the stars of the show for the Parisians was Italian midfielder Marco Verratti.
Verratti was the engine room for PSG, completing over 100 passes during the 90 minutes. Even more impressive, that’s the 5th time this season Verratti has recorded that stat.
Marco Verratti turned on the style in one amazing moment against Sochaux as, after winning the ball near his own box, the 21-year-old Italian international waltzed past four opposition players, throwing in an improvised Zidane-turn in for good measure.
Then, after breaking free towards the halfway-line, Veratti laid off a forward pass to his teammate.
It was absolute class!
