Sad to see not many fans have stuck around for Pellegrini's farewell speech. 3 trophies & a gentleman throughout. pic.twitter.com/dws8x99dUe

Chilean manager Manuel Pellegrini today managed Manchester City for the final time at the Etihad, drawing 2-2 with Arsenal as their top 4 hopes were left hanging by a thread.
Sadly, most of the Manchester City fans failed to stay after the full time whistle to say goodbye to the gentleman who led their side for three years.
The Etihad was mostly empty for Manuel Pellegrini’s farewell speech, with those who stayed offering him a standing ovation following a short speech.
See Pellegrini’s speech and some tweets on the fans rather embarrassing post match walkout below. The man deserved better!

Pellegrini deserves better from fans than a rapidly emptying stadium post- last home match…

Pellegrini applauded as he addresses the fans who are still here. "Gracias Manuel" flashes up on the screen pic.twitter.com/clu2UFXc34

Think Pellegrini's been let down by his players.
Handled his exit with class though. Shame more fans didn't stay. pic.twitter.com/nfAkCSGR8a

Pellegrini giving a speech to virtually an empty Eithad Stadium. After everything Pellegrini has done, the least the fans could do is stay.

Spot on Niall Quinn re Pep announcement. Pellegrini undermined and now humiliated by the fans. Poor show for a guy who won the title.
