Mauricio Pochettino identifies the striker he wants at Chelsea

Chelsea are looking to sign a new striker this summer as they finally look to address the gaping hole in their team.

Last season, their need for a new number nine was alarming as netted just 38 times in the league.

Mauricio Pochettino has told Chelsea that he wants to sign Lautaro Martínez, according to the Times.

The Argentine has been a long-term admirer of the striker and he now wants him at Chelsea.

Poch believes that Martínez is one of the best in the world in his position.

However, the west London club are expecting to face competition from Real Madrid for his signature.

Madrid are also looking to sign a centre-forward following the departure of Karim Benzema.
