For the first time in Champions League semi-finals history, AC Milan and Inter Milan will lock horns for two games at the San Siro with AC Milan being labelled as the home outfit in this first leg encounter on Wednesday.
Both sides are right by one another in the Serie A table with just two points keeping Inter Milan in fourth ahead of AC in fifth. The latter has, however, lost seven games compared to Inter’s 11.

These two last met in a Milan derby back in February where Lautaro Martinez scored in the first half of a 1-0 win. Inter also smashed Milan 3-0 in the Supercoppa Italiana final a month prior.
The other fixture between these two this season back in September saw Milan run out 3-2 winners after Rafael Leao netted a brace before Olivier Giroud scored the decisive goal. Marcelo Brozovic and Edin Dzeko scored for Inter.
