The best Tweets: Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard takes a bashing during Adidas Q&A on Twitter
On Tuesday Adidas ran a question and answer session with Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard on Twitter.
Now, whilst Twitter is good for many things, there are also no shortage of football fans trolling (to use the modern parlance) and plenty of rival supporters took the opportunity to have a dig at Liverpool’s most current iconic player.
Under the hashtag #AskStevieG, football fans sent some funny/harsh/ridiculous Tweets (depending on your view point) – the best of which are embedded below.
For those interested, during the questions Steven Gerrard did answer, he said Luis Suarez was the best striker he had ever played with at Liverpool and that he would be keen to bring back Xabi Alonso to Anfield.
