Premier League outfit Newcastle United have, on Thursday, been afforded a boost on the personnel front.
The Magpies, of course, are primed to return to action next week.
On the back of the World Cup break, Newcastle will warm up for their Premier League comeback in a League Cup meeting with Bournemouth.
Boss Eddie Howe, in turn, will be hopeful of having as many of his key performers as possible fit and available for selection, ahead of a concerted push for a top-4 berth over the 2nd half of the season.
And, as alluded to above, on Thursday, an imminent boost to the options expected to be at the disposal of Eddie Howe over the coming week has been revealed.
The player in line for a return to action? Joelinton.
For those not aware, midfielder Joelinton set pulses racing across the Geordie outfit’s fanbase this day last week.

This came upon the Brazilian limping out of Newcastle’s friendly victory over Al-Hilal.
On the back of the clash in Riyadh, it was subsequently revealed that Joelinton had picked up a hamstring complaint, the extent of which was not immediately clear.
On Thursday, though, the 26-year-old marked his return to first-team training. He is therefore expected to be fit to feature from the off against Bournemouth.
