Tottenham loan watch week 3: Ndombele, Udogie, Parrott and more

How those away from the Lilywhites got on

Just 4 Tottenham loanees were in action over the weekend across four different divisions, which can be hard to keep track of.

Fortunately, 101 have done the hard work for you. Here is how each of them got on.

To keep a track of everything Spurs related, check out our dedicated Tottenham page here.

Destiny Udogie (Udinese)

Udogie’s first start since his move to Tottenham was announced ended in a draw, with Udinese held to a 0-0 stalemate with Salernitana. The wing-back managed three out of four successful dribbles and won two out of three tackles.

The result, however, leaves both sides still searching for their first win of the season, having both lost their opening clashes.

Troy Parrott (Preston North End)

Parrott led the line for Preston against Rotherham in midweek and again against Watford over the weekend, but is still yet to grab his first Championship goal for the club, with both games ending as 0-0 draws.

Joe Rodon (Stade Rennais)

Rodon was an unused substitute as Rennes came away with three points against AC Ajaccio, courtesy of a 2-1 scoreline.

Dane Scarlett (Portsmouth)

Scarlett could not follow up opening his account for Portsmouth with more goals in the latest pair of fixtures, managing 61 minutes before being substituted during his side’s 4-1 win over Cambridge United, during which he managed just 12 touches.

He started on the bench for the South Coast side’s next clash, but came on for the final 26 minutes and picked up an assist as Portsmouth registered another win, this time 3-1 over Bristol Rovers, to take them third in League One.

Tanguy Ndombele (Napoli)

Ndombele was an unused substitute for Napoli as the Italian side blew away Monza 4-0.

Alfie Whiteman (Degerfors)

Whiteman is expected to start as Degerfors take on 3rd place Hammerby.

Giovani Lo Celso (Villareal)

Lo Celso made a winning return to Villareal, playing 70 minutes for the yellow submarine as they beat Atletico Madrid 2-0.
