Chelsea’s Premier League campaign resumed on December 27 when they welcomed recently-promoted Bournemouth to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues headed into the game on a worrying run of form. They were winless in their last five league outings, including losing their last three.
As result, Chelsea began the gameweek 8th in the table and in danger of slipping out of the race for Champions League football.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, have had an ok start to life back in England’s top-flight, picking up 16 points from 15 games so far.
And at the time of writing, Chelsea are cruising. Mason Mount and Kai Havertz have found themselves on the scoresheet in the first 45, with Havertz also providing the assist for Mount’s goal.
However, it is another Chelsea star who has been receiving a lot of praise online.
However, during the first 45 on Tuesday, Zakaria has received a lot of praise for his showing:
Zakaria, I wasn’t familiar with your game.
