Aaron Ramsey set for Juventus departure along with Adrien Rabiot after The Old Lady decides on summer exits

Juventus seem to have decided that the futures of Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot lie away from the Allianz Stadium.

Ramsey, Rabiot out

Despite only arriving in Italy less than 2 years ago it seems that Aaron Ramsey’s time with Juventus is coming to an end.

Having left Arsenal on a free transfer with him and the club unable to come to an agreement over a new deal, he arrived in Turin with the hope of winning trophies and succeeded by taking hold of the Serie A title in his debut campaign.

However, he has struggled for form and fitness under Andrea Pirlo and it now seems that both he and French midfielder Adrien Rabiot are destined for the exit door.

This season the Welshman has scored twice and assisted a further 5 in 20 Serie A appearances.

Italian media suggest that Juventus are open to offers for the pair and could look to make money which could be reinvested in a title push next season.

6/10 Pirlo

Juventus’ Andrea Pirlo has self-assessed his season and decided upon a rating of 6 out of 10 for his debut as a senior coach.

Having been knocked out of the Champions League by Porto and looking unlikely to retain their Serie A crown, many suggestions have led to the Likely departure of the former Juve midfielder.

The Italian still seemed headstrong despite his self criticism.

“All coaches must feel like they have to prove themselves every single day, let alone me, as I am in my first coaching experience. Football has been my dream since I was a child and I will keep working hard to improve,” he said.

“I’d give myself a six out of 10 for this season so far. I know that I must do more, and when you don’t achieve certain results, the coach is the first to take responsibility.

“My idea of football is to dominate the game and press the opposition. For a series of reasons, we’ve been unable to fully implement it, but the team is eager and we’ll keep working on it.”
