Zambia have been imperious in this Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, so already know they’re guaranteed to feature at January’s tournament.
The Copper Bullets were beaten 3-1 by Côte d’Ivoire in their group opener, but have since won four on the spin, thereby moving into first place in Group H.
This includes beating Comoros when the two clashes in Lusaka, Kings Kangwa with a late winner, before a statement 3-0 victory over Ivory Coast back in June.
So, led by Avram Grant, Zambia could be a team to watch when Africa Cup of Nations gets underway on 13 January.
Comoros meantime made their AFCON debut in 2022, reaching the round of 16 against the odds, but will not be qualifying once again.
The Coelacanths have beaten minnows Lesotho both home and away, Youssouf M’Changama the only scorer when the two met in the summer, but Younes Zerdouk’s team have been unable to compete with the top two.
