Sorare Ligue 1

Sorare Ligue 1 football preview: Troyes vs Lille

Lille head to relegated Troyes looking to confirm European football for next season in the final weekend of the Ligue 1 campaign.

Paulo Fonseca’s side are fourth in the table on 66 points but face competition from Rennes and Monaco, who go into the final game on the back of successive defeats which have seen them drop out of the European spots into sixth place.

It is a place in the Europa League on the line for Lille if they emerge victorious, but they know that only a win can guarantee their qualification and if their result is bettered by Rennes, they must settle for the Conference League.

The game will be part of Gameweek 377 on Sorare Football, and 101 Great Goals has broken down the key statistical takeaways ahead of the game.

Three Troyes Sorare gems to watch

Kouame N’Guessan

The central midfielder has endured a downturn in form lately, but has generally been one of Troyes’ more reliable performers in Sorare from the middle of the pitch. Though his L5 average rating has dropped to 39, he has a very respectable L40 of 50 having recorded seven scores over 60 over the course of the season, which has included a goal and an assist.

Mateusz Lis

Having only joined Troyes on loan at the start of the season, Lis has had to wait his turn before getting a chance in the closing weeks of the season. The 26-year-old has been a busy man in the nine games he has played this season, but that does give him the chance to score. Since coming back into the side for the last two games, he scored a 27 in the draw with Strasbourg before a respectable 45 in the defeat to Angers. He could be a busy man against Lille so a decent performance could return a good score.

Ike Ugbo

Ugbo will lead the line for Troyes against Lille. He is not a prolific striker, having only netted twice this season and adding one assist. He gets through a lot of defensive work for his side however and has shown during his time in Belgium that he is well capable of scoring goals if he can get on a roll.

Three Lille Sorare gems to watch

Carlos Baleba

Cameroon teenager has enjoyed a run in the first team of late, having been limited to substitute appearances for the majority of his debut campaign. He has just five starts all season but in his last two games he has recorded scores of 60 and 69 and he could be a player to keep a close eye on this weekend and going into next season.

Adam Ounas

Ounas made a positive impact off the bench at half-time in their win over Nantes. While he has only one goal and one assist - albeit in the last outing - since his move from Napoli, his impact off the bench suggests he could be in line for a start against Troyes. If given the opportunity, as an attacking player he will be licking his lips at the opportunity for goals.

Jonathan David

David is Lille’s key man and top goalscorer having reached 24 goals for the season and netted three in his last two games. David is Lille’s penalty taker which guarantees opportunities to score and will be their main attacking threat. An L15 of 58 and L5 of 53 isn’t indicative of the kind of player he is, as he is certainly someone with the potential to score big.
