Udinese are sitting in 10th ahead of their game with Spezia at the Dacia Arena with the away side aiming to avoid another loss as they are just two clear of the bottom three this Sunday.
Spezia have not been in the relegation zone for many months but the incredible form of Hellas Verona has brought them closer to the bottom three than they have been since November.
At the same time, Spezia are now winless in the past six games with them defeating Torino over a month ago in Serie A. They’ve only managed to draw with Empoli ever since and let in 16 ever since their win in Turin.
Udinese lost Inter Milan last Saturday and they have also put together a lengthy winless run. A 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona, a 1-0 defeat to Torino and a 2-2 draw with Sassuolo have all come in ever since they beat Sampdoria a month ago.
The side from Udine are still in the top half of the table, however, with them on 30 points from 23 games and one point behind Torino in ninth and one clear of Monza in 11th.
