Udinese and Empoli will clash this Wednesday at the Dacia Arena with eighth taking on 13th in Serie A as the club returns to our TV screens this week as seven points keep the two adrift of one another.
Udinese’s excellent start to the season has rapidly been forgotten with them now winning just six games from the 15 outings. The club were up into as high as third after a bunch of games in Serie A, but now sit with little to shout about.
Udinese have still managed to score 24 goals and let in just 17, while they have also only lost three games - this is the same amount as third-placed Lazio.
Empoli managed to beat Sassuolo in their friendlies during the World Cup break, but also lost to Monaco and drew with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
They remain down in 13th ahead of this game with them having scored the fewest goals for those outside of the drop zone with just 12 scored. They have also let in 19 goals from the 15 games.
