Juventus are up into ninth after a solid response to their 15-point deduction that saw them drop to as low as 13th in the table with the Old Lady now heading on the road to meet with a Spezia side still staring over their shoulder in Serie A.

Juventus were back in Europa League action on Thursday for the first time in many years, as the club went on to draw with Nantes in Turin thanks to a goal from Dusan Vlahovic. The Serie A giants now have lots of work to do when they head to France next Thursday.

Back in the league, Adrien Rabiot scored the game’s only goal when Juventus defeated Fiorentina last weekend. They also smashed Salernitana 3-0 just prior to this, while defeating Lazio 1-0 in the Coppa Italia.

As for Spezia they have not picked up a point in the last month other than their 2-2 draw with Empoli that saw them lead twice in the game.

The club lost to Roma, Bologna and Napoli by letting in seven goals and scoring none in the games prior to the recent draw.
