Turning attentions towards the Nerazzurri’s upcoming hosts, Sassuolo, as alluded to above, boast the exact same points total in the Italian top-flight to this point in the season.

Their haul, though, comes owing to an altogether more balanced record of three wins, three draws and two defeats.

The Neroverdi have proven one of Serie A’s standout performers over the course of the last couple of weeks, clinching six points from six, with a credible 1-0 victory at Torino followed last time out by a 5-0 drubbing of Salernitana.

Making such results all the more impressive is the fact that they have come sans the efforts of key trio Mert Muldur, Hamed Traore and Gregoire Defrel, as well as captain and talisman Domenico Berardi.
