Bologna are looking to get back in the win column after a tough run of form has seen them drop into ninth and lose grip on their hopes of getting into the Europa Conference League spot ahead of meeting with Salernitana.
After struggling for the most part of the first half of the campaign, Bologna have jumped into the top 10 after a great run of form since the World Cup that even saw them defeat Inter Milan two weeks ago.
Further wins over Sampdoria, Spezia and Fiorentina sees the club down in ninth now and with a gap of just one point on Torino in eighth and two behind Juventus in seventh.
Salernitana come into the game with a 1-1 draw away to AC Milan at the San Siro, as they drew with Sampdoria last time out. They did, however, defeat Monza 3-0 three weeks back.
They remain in 16th still for yet another week, although the club are still a healthy gap above the relegation zone where they sit seven points away from Hellas Verona.
