Napoli vs Lazio preview

First takes on second from Serie A last season with a meeting between Napoli and Lazio at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium this Saturday night with the Rome side aiming to move on from their loss last time out.

Lazio were beaten by Genoa in their battle last weekend that saw the club fall to a 1-0 loss after a first half goal where the likes of Ciro Immobile were completely ineffective.

Worse yet, Lazio also lost to Lecce on the opening weekend with Immobile scoring in the first half before two late goals from Lecce.

As for Napoli, it’s so far been a fantastic attempt to defend their title with two wins and three goals from Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian bagged a brace in the win over Frosinone on the road, as Matteo Politano also scored a goal in the first half.

Sassuolo also fell to a 2-0 loss to Napoli where Osimhen scored once more alongside a finish from Giovanni Di Lorenzo from the penalty spot.
