It’s the biggest Serie A game of the weekend as AC Milan welcome Roma to the San Siro as Jose Mourinho returns to his old stomping ground with aims of getting back in the top four and stopping the champions’ title quest.

After returning to Serie A with a bang against Salernitana, Milan are now back within five points of league leaders Napoli, following on from a helping hand from their rivals Inter, who beat them 1-0 at the San Siro.

Against Salernitana, Rafael Leao continued his stunning form with the champions by scoring the opening goal, as Sandro Tonali made it 2-0 inside the first 15 minutes. Milan blew a clean sheet in the final seven minutes, however.

As for Roma, they edged past Bologna at the Stadio Olimpico in their comeback game, as Lorenzo Pellegrini scored from the penalty spot after just six minutes.

Roma are now level on points with rival Lazio in fifth after their loss to Lecce, sitting behind their neighbours on only goals difference. They are also just three points off Inter in fourth and six adrift of Milan ahead of their second trip to the San Siro this season.
