After a hard-fought victory in Mick Beale’s first game in charge, will Rangers make it two wins out of two after the winter-break?

On Thursday night, the Gers were involved in a five-goal thriller with Hibernian, eventually prevailing 3-2 at Ibrox.

Fashion Sakala fired home a first half equaliser, only for Hibs to retake the mere seconds after from kick off.

Ryan Jack did get it back to 2-2 from close-range before, late on, Alfredo Morelos won it for the home side.

The Light Blues remain nine points below Celtic, but can cut that gap back down to six with victory in the Granite City.

As for Aberdeen, they came agonisingly close to holding the league-leaders to a draw on Saturday, only to concede two minutes from time.

Aberdeen haven’t beaten Rangers at home since September 2016, with James Maddison scoring a famous stoppage time free-kick that day.

Will those wearing Red inside Pittodrie be celebrating a statement victory, or will Beale make it back-to-back wins to begin his time at Bears boss?
