Match preview: West Ham vs Leicester

West Ham United’s first half of the season has been thoroughly underwhelming.

The Hammers are languishing down in 15th having lost 8 of their 14 matches.

Last weekend, they suffered another defeat as they were beaten by Crystal Palace.

The Eagles netted a last-minute winner to put the pressure on David Moyes.

Moyes also saw his side crash out of the EFL Cup at the hands of Blackburn Rovers.

Their involvement in Europe hasn’t helped, but results have been simply shocking for West Ham.

Meanwhile, Leicester City have started to look a lot more positive having won three of their last four matches.

The Foxes have also lost just once in their last five games with their only defeat coming against Man City.

Their upturn in form has seen them move into 14th and above Saturday’s hosts.

At the heart of everything good for Leicester this season has been James Maddison and his form was rewarded this week by being named in England’s World Cup squad.

The midfielder will be looking to impress one last time before getting on the plane to Qatar with the Three Lions.
