World Cup 2022: England XI vs France leaked

England’s XI for their quarter-final clash has been leaked, it has been reported.

France booked their spot in the last-eight after beating Poland 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.

England, meanwhile, saw off Senegal by three goals to nil later in the day.

Both teams have squads littered with quality, though it is France who have one of the best players in the world right now in the form of Kylian Mbappe.

The forward netted twice vs Poland on Sunday and is currently leading the Golden Boot race with five goals from four games.

Ahead of the game, all eyes have been on how Gareth Southgate will set up his side to stop Mbappe and co.

Many believed that Southgate would revert back to his five-back formation, starting both Kieran Trippier and Kyle Walker in order to neutralise Mbappe’s threat.

Now, the England XI for Saturday has been leaked. And there is no five-back formation, with Southgate opting to show faith in Kyle Walker and his ability to stop Mbappe.

England XI vs France: Pickford, Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw, Rice, Bellingham, Henderson, Saka, Kane, Foden.
