Wolves team news and predicted XI vs Leicester City

Wolves Team News

  • Out: SaÅ¡a Kalajdžić, Chiquinho
  • Doubt: Boubacar Traoré, Diego Costa

Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui has proven himself capable of picking the midlands outfit up during a 2022-23 season where many fans feared possible relegation from the Premier League, with the club now sitting midtable and seven points clear of the bottom three on the back of credible recent form (3-1-2). With seven matches left, barring a massive dip in results, the Spanish tactician looks to have achieved his immediate objectives at the Molineux.

For a weekend clash against relegation candidates Leicester City, Lopetegui will be thankful to have both Rúben Neves and Jonny available after serving suspensions. Saša Kalajdžić and Chinquinho remain sidelined with injury, however, and are likely to miss the bulk of the remainder of the campaign. Diego Costa will face a late assessment after picking up a knock against Brentford, while Boubacar Traoré is on the road to a full return to the senior set up but the weekend is likely too soon for him.
