Manchester City head into the game on the back of a superb comeback vs Tottenham in midweek.
However, City are still five points off Arsenal having played one more game than the Gunners.
So, with Arsenal facing Manchester United later on Sunday, the Sky Blues need a win vs Wolves to pile the pressure on their title rivals.
Ahead of the tie, Manchester City released their matchday squad an hour before kick-off.
The squad was fairly standard, with John Stones and Ruben Dias returning following injury issues.
Stones made the XI whilst Dias was named on the bench vs Wolves.
