Footage of Manchester United star Lisandro Martinez affording a warm welcome to new teammate Mason Mount has come to the fore on Friday.
The name of midfielder Mount, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines on the red half of Manchester across the week to date.
This comes after the long-standing efforts of the powers that be at Old Trafford to lure the England international away from Chelsea finally bore fruit.
On the back of numerous rejects bids, the Red Devils’ final proposal of £55 million plus bonuses did the trick, with Mount, in turn, having gone on to put pen to paper on terms with his new employers on Wednesday:
The 24-year-old will now be tasked with settling into Erik ten Hag’s squad, ahead of a campaign which will see heavy expectations placed upon his shoulders by the always demanding Manchester United faithful.
And, as alluded to above, one individual who appears keen to aid Mount with precisely that as soon as possible comes in the form of Lisandro Martinez.
