Monday’s solitary Premier League fixture was of course played out a short time ago.
The matchup saw mid-table Leeds welcome top-4 hunting Liverpool to West Yorkshire, for a highly-anticipated showdown.

And, when all was said and done, an entertaining 90 minutes eventually resulted in the spoils being shared.
The evening’s scoring was opened just past the half-hour mark, when a fine team move saw Trent Alexander-Arnold slipped in down the right, before squaring for Sadio Mane to slot home into an empty net:

Hosts Leeds, though, ramped up the pressure in a major way following the interval, and were eventually rewarded for their efforts with 87 minutes on the clock.
A corner from the right was met by the impressive Diego Llorente, who nodded beyond Alisson to deal Liverpool’s top-4 hopes a blow.
On an otherwise underwhelming night for the Premier League champions, though, one of the club’s stars nevertheless continued to make his way up an elite Premier League list.
The player in question? Trent Alexander-Arnold.
As revealed on the back of his latest assist at Elland Road, TAA, at the age of just 22, has now teed up as many Premier League goals as Arsenal and Chelsea icon Ashley Cole managed across his entire career:
