Wolves make transfer decision over Hee-chan Hwang ahead of January

Wolves have made a transfer decision over loanee Hee-chan Hwang ahead of the January transfer window, according to a report from England.

Hee-chan Hwang’s Wolves stint

Wolves would sign Hee-chan Hwang over the summer, on loan from RB Leipzig.

The South Korean was brought in to add some much-needed support to Wolves in their striking department.

And, so far, the 25-year-old has done exactly that. In seven Premier League outings to date, Hwang has managed to score a very solid four goals.

He has also formed a great partnership with Raul Jimenez up front for the Midlands-based outfit, with Bruno Lage now largely opting to use a two-striker system.

This has proven to be a smart decision on the part of Lage who has managed to, after a very slow start that lacked goals, guide Wolves up to 7th in the Premier League, just four points off the Champions League places.

Now, ahead of the January transfer window, Wolves have made a decision regarding Hwang.

The striker is currently on loan at Wolves and they do have an option to buy him at the end of the season for a reported £14m.

But, according to the Telegraph:

Wolves are primed to open negotiations over a permanent move when the January transfer window opens.

The same report adds that Wolves are are considering another move for Renato Sanches.
