Watch: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admits he wants to return to former team

Current Chelsea star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has desires to return to a former club.

Aubameyang joined Chelsea from FC Barcelona in September of 2022 for €12m.

His time in west London has been unproductive to say the least.

The ageing forward has notched just 21 outings across all competitions for the Blues, in which he has scored a dismal three goals and provided one assist. Only one of those goals came in the Premier League as well, which goes some way to explaining Chelsea’s awful 2022/23 season.

Before Barcelona, Aubameyang plied his trade with their London rivals, Arsenal.

Aubameyang had a much more productive spell in north London, where he netted 92 and assisted 21 in 163 games.

Now though, Aubameyang is seemingly keen to return to Spain with Barcelona.

Aubameyang had a short spell at the Camp Nou but still found the net 13 times in 24 games.
