The Arsenal star Manchester United targeted revealed

Erik ten Hag is desperate to sign a new striker this summer after a dismal showing from both Anthony Martial and the now departed Wout Weghorst in 2022/23.

The Independent report that Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun was also identified as a possible target earlier in the window.

It is added that United held interest in the USA international but turned their attention to Hojlund as they did not believe a deal with Arsenal was realistic.

Inter Milan are at the front of the queue to sign Balogun, though it still seems somewhat odd Arsenal are so willing to let Balogun leave despite the fact he could potentially replace Eddie Nketiah in the squad and score more goals.
