Seven players who could still leave Arsenal this summer

A number of players could still be sold by Arsenal in 2023.

With just a few weeks of the transfer window left, Arsenal looked to be done in the market.

However, Jurrien Timber then picked up an injury on the opening weekend which has ruled him out for much of the campaign.

In response to this, Mikel Arteta appeared to hint another signing could be made:

“We didn’t plan with this injury,” the Spaniard said ahead of his side’s clash with Crystal Palace on Monday night.

“We have to assess what the options are, what are the best players that we have because, as I said, my challenge is to get the best from the players that we have. I cannot assess anyone who is not here.

“We are always open and we have to be open as well to react if something happens, not only with an injury but if something happens in the market as well. That’s what we’re doing.”

Arthur Okonkwo is expected to leave permanently, full-backs Nuno Tavares and Cedric are both likely to be sold, Rob Holding and Kieran Tierney’s futures remain up in the air and Albert Sambi Lokonga and Folarin Balogun also look set for Emirates exits.
