Revealed: Leicester’s new Youri Tielemans asking price, Arsenal remain the club most interested

Leicester City are willing to drop their asking price for Youri Tielemans as the transfer window heads into the final week.

Leicester City are expected to drop their asking price for Youri Tielemans, according to Het Nieuwsblad.

The midfielder’s contract has less than 12 months remaining now and the Foxes do not want to lose him for free.

He is likely to have plenty of suitors with Arsenal remaining the club with the strongest interest.

Leicester’s new Tielemans & Arsenal’s interest

Leicester are expected to drop their asking price to £25 million for Tielemans.

The Foxes have been demanding £45 million which has put clubs off from signing him.

However, they have been unable to agree on a new contract with him, meaning he will be a free agent next summer.

The player is happy at Leicester but he wants a new challenge at a bigger club.

Therefore, as the transfer window heads into its final week, Leicester’s asking price is set to drop.

This is expected to make a deal possible and could see Arsenal really pick up their interest.

The Gunners have been keen on him for several months and remain the most interested club.
