French giants Paris Saint-Germain continue the retooling of the senior squad at the Parc des Princes this summer under new manager Luis Enrique after the Ligue 1 hegemon levied an updated offer to Olympique Lyonnais for starlet Bradley Barcola.
The 20-year-old French youth international had a true coming out party for OL in 2022-23 and is considered to be among the most talented young attacking players in Europe after the Lyon-born versatile forward scored 7 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions for Les Gones.
Interest in Barcola has been high, with Chelsea also being linked with interest in the player previously this summer, but it looks to be that PSG is in line to win the race for his signature according to Fabrizio Romano.
Per the football insider, PSG have sent a fresh prosal to OL valued at €45m (guaranteed) with the Rhône Valley side also set to retain a 10% sell-on clause after Barcola reportedly agreed to personal terms with PSG two months ago.
PSG have been aggressive this summer to revamp the squad under Enrique after sealing no less than eleven deals in various capacities, bringing Manuel Ugarte, Ousmane Dembélé, Lucas Hernández, Kang in-Lee, Xavi Simons, Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio, Cher Ndour, Arnau Tenas, and Gonçalo Ramos to the city of lights, while also making Hugo Ekitiké's move from Stade de Reims official.
