The player in question is Martin Odegaard.
According to the Daily Mail, PSG have made contact with Arsenal over a potential move for their captain this summer.
The Gunners are reluctant to let Odegaard leave as he is central to Mikel Arteta’s plans going forward, and would require a giant fee to consider letting the Norwegian move on this summer.
What that fee would have to be is not mentioned in the report, but you would assume PSG could stump up whatever Arsenal ask for.
However, selling Odegaard this summer would likely be a major error on the Gunners’ part.
The Norwegian has had a sensational campaign and has arguably cemented himself as the second best no.10 in Europe behind only Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne.
This made Odegaard the highest scoring midfielder in the Premier League, with Marcus Rashford (17) and Mohamed Salah (19) the only non-striking options to have scored more across the campaign.
