Marc Cucurella DOESN’T want to leave Chelsea this summer

Cucurella has made his mind up over his future at Chelsea...

Marc Cucurella is one of the players being strongly linked with a move away from Chelsea.

The 24-year-old only joined the west London club last summer for £62 million from Brighton.

However, the defender has very different ideas as he returns for pre-season training...

Cucurella keen to stay

Marc Cucurella wants to remain at Chelsea this summer, according to the Evening Standard.

The Spaniard wants to fight for his place in the team under Mauricio Pochettino.

He is keen to impress the new Blues manager in the first week of pre-season training.

The Blues are open to selling him with Atletico Madrid and Newcastle both interested in him.

Cucurella will face strong competition though as he is competing against Ben Chilwell and Lewis Hall.

The 24-year-old had a very tricky first season at Stamford Bridge with the fans turning on him.

He was booed by the supporters in back-to-back matches against West Ham and Borussia Dortmund in February.
