The player in question is Real Madrid and France star, Aurelien Tchouameni.
The Frenchman only arrived at the Bernabeu last summer but there is speculation over his future in Spain following the signing of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.
Reports in Spain have suggested that Liverpool are keen on bringing Tchouameni to Anfield this summer, with the Reds making a €55m bid for the 23-year-old.
It was also suggested that Liverpool could offer around €80m (£71m) for the former AS Monaco ace.
However, reports this week suggest another Premier League giant is interested in the midfielder.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Erik ten Hag wants Manchester United to go after Real Madrid midfielder and Casemiro’s replacement at the Santiago Bernabeu, Aurelien Tchouameni.
Bayern Munich are also named as an interested party but it is hard to see them being able to sign both Tchouameni and Harry Kane in one window.
