Manchester United are interested in Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, according to reports.
According to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Napoli are hoping to tie the player down to a new long-term contract in order to fend off the interest from around Europe.
Clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester City are also thought to be keen on the 22-year-old Georgian winger who has been in outstanding form this season.
But if Napoli get their way, Kvaratskhelia will instead sign a new contract in Naples instead of moving elsewhere in Europe.
However, given the Serie A’s lack of financial power, it seems likely that Manchester United would be able to offer a much higher wage packet going forward.
Kvaratskhelia has 12 goals and 15 assists across all competitions and he has helped Napoli open up a huge gap atop of the Serie A in 2022/23.
Should Kvaratskhelia sign for Manchester United, it would give the likes of Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho more chances to be used up front/as a no.10.
