Manchester City could join race for Manchester United & Liverpool target

Manchester City could snatch a transfer target away from their two biggest rivals.

Manchester City are currently competing with Real Madrid to secure the signature of Jude Bellingham.

But according to the latest reports, the English international is likely to choose Los Blancos as his next destination.

As a result, if the Citizens miss out on signing the star midfielder, they could shift their focus on to Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, according to The Mirror.

The 20-year-old Dutchman joined Bayern at the start of the season in a deal worth around €25m but he has found it difficult to hold down a regular starting spot under Julian Nagelsmann and Thomas Tuchel.

Gravenberch has made 21 Bundesliga appearances so far this season, but none of those have lasted 90 minutes. In fact, he has notched just 441 minutes of league action so far this term. And given he still needs to develop as a player, it would be smart for Gravenberch to move clubs next season.

Both Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with the Dutchman ahead of the summer, but the prospect of joining the most dominant team in England may hand City a boost if they choose to pursue Gravenberch.
