Liverpool transfer news: Mac Allister eyed, Napoli star targeted & more

Here is all the latest Liverpool transfer news.

First, Liverpool are set to continue their summer shopping spree after the Cody Gakpo hijack and have ramped up talks with Benfica over a potential move for Argentine midfielder, according to O Jogo.

The 21-year-old reportedly has a release clause of £105m (€120m) with both Liverpool and Manchester United willing to meet the exorbitant fee.

Next, according to La Repubblica , Liverpool are interested in signing Brighton and Argentina playmaker Alexis MacAllister, who starred for La Albiceleste at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Reds, along with a number of other European elites, are keen on acquiring the Argentina international. Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, and Benfica have all been linked with Mac Allister, who is valued between €35m-40m.

Elsewhere, according to the Daily Mail, Jude Bellingham remains Liverpool’s number one transfer target for the summer after the Reds moved swiftly to snap PSV attacker Cody Gakpo under the noses of arch-rivals Manchester United.

Bellingham will be free to pick his own future club if his contract release clause is met, with Jurgen Klopp and co. desperately trying to convince him to join Liverpool.

Finally, according to Calciomercato, the Reds are currently the frontrunners to sign Hirving Lozano from Napoli. The Mexican winger has been eyed by multiple European elites but could land in Anfield under Jurgen Klopp.
