Liverpool transfer news: €40m bid readied, future plans revealed & more

First up, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is confident about future investments coming into the club.

The German manager suggested that he’s unsure about the number of funds that would come into the English club, but the future was bright for the Reds and its supporters:

“I don’t know the amount of money you need but I am not against investment. That is clear. The future here is bright”, Klopp said.

Next, according to Corriere Fiorentino, Liverpool are set to make their first move for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat. It is claimed by sources ‘very close to the player’ that an offer from Liverpool ‘could soon’ arrive on the table of Serie A outfit.

La Viola are bracing themselves for multiple January bids for Amrabat, who is getting ‘a lot of attention’ after his brilliant performances at the World Cup. The magnitude of Reds’ proposal is reported to be ‘not far from €40m’.

Finally, Liverpool have joined the race for Preston North End prodigy Felipe Rodriguez-Gentile, according to Mirror. The 16-year-old Brazilian recently made the headlines when he scored five goals against Rotterham in the FA Youth Cup.
