Liverpool eye €60m Premier League ace

Liverpool are looking to target a Premier League star in the market.

The player in question is Fulham’s Joao Palhinha.

According to a report from journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Fulham are prepared to sanction Palhinha’s departure for a fee of around €60 million.

It is added that Liverpool are most keen on signing him this summer and it remains to be seen whether they are ready to pay up.

Palhinha joined Marco Silva’s Fulham from Sporting last summer and remains under contract until 2027.

During his debut season in England, the 28-year-old played 35 Premier League games and scored three goals.

Palhinha is a natural defensive midfielder and would make a perfect replacement for both Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, who continue to be linked with moves to Saudi Arabia.

Manchester City have previously been tipped to move for Palhinha, but their interest has seemingly died down of late.
