An early insight into the plans of the powers that be at Premier League giants Chelsea for incoming signing David Datro Fofana has been provided late on Sunday.
The name of attacker Fofana has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in west London across the day to date.
This comes after word, out of the blue, was forthcoming in the media that the Ivorian is on the verge of taking his talents to Stamford Bridge.
In news first confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Fofana is primed for a January Chelsea switch, in a deal expected to worth a fee in the region of €10 million.

Fofana’s arrival, of course, comes on the back of Armando Broja suffering a serious injury during a friendly meeting with Aston Villa earlier this week.
In turn, it had been altogether understandably suggested that Fofana was coming in to act as a backup centre-forward option in Graham Potter’s squad for the 2nd half of the campaign.
As per the reliable Nizaar Kinsella, the 19-year-old, set to arrive in England’s capital from Norwegian outfit Molde, could well be sent out on loan for through the summer.
This would leave the door open for Chelsea to add a 2nd signing in the attacking third following the turn of the year.
David Datro Fofana is expected to join Chelsea for £8.6m but interesting to see what the plan will be.
Hearing that he might go straight out on loan leaving room for another temporary option up front.
