How much Arsenal will receive from latest sales

Arsenal are set to net a tidy sum this week.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Folarin Balogun will seal his exit from Arsenal today.

AS Monaco welcomed the USA striker yesterday ahead of a medical and he is expected to sign on the dotted line in the coming hours.

Arsenal will receive £34m if all of Balogun’s add-ons are activated and have a sell-on clause in the deal.

Elsewhere, Nuno Tavares will sign documents as a new Nottingham Forest player today.

Arsenal will receive a loan fee close to £2m plus a £12m buy option clause which is not mandatory.

This will be a tidy boost to Arsenal’s transfer fund and one they may wish to spend quickly.

Jurrien Timber’s injury had left Arsenal very weak at the back, with the addition of another right-back or centre-back needed before the deadline because right now, only Gabriel, William Saliba and Ben White are good enough to cover in the middle of the Gunners’ defence and the latter plays at right-back normally anyway.
