The player in question is MLS winger, Facundo Torres.
Arsenal will soon hold talks over a potential move for Orlando City’s Facundo Torres, the player’s agent has confirmed.
Speaking to ESPN, agent Edgardo Lasalvia confirmed he would soon meet with Lima, though stressed “there is still nothing advanced.”
Arsenal’s interest in Torres is believed to partly be born out of the findings of scout Toni Lima.
The winger only joined the MLS side in January from Penarol but has since impressed, scoring nine goals and registering 10 assists in 39 appearances.
And now, he has revealed what he would bring to Arsenal’s side should he indeed join:
“I’m a forward, an attacking player that likes to play out on the wings,” Torres said.
“But one of the things I love to do the most is just attacking at goal and going to goal. Inside the box, outside the box, it’s one of those things where I just really love getting towards goal.
“And I’m a player that loves to be on the ball all the time because if I don’t have the ball, I’m waiting for it and I love to be on the attack and affect the game as much as possible on the ball.”
