The player in question is Hakim Ziyech, who fell out of favour in the 2022/23 season.
The Moroccan international nearly joined PSG in January but a deal fell through on the final day.
Now, the winger has once again been linked with a Chelsea exit this summer.
However, Ziyech aimed a dig at Saudi side Al Nassr on Instagram as he mocked the idea that he couldn’t join the club because of a knee problem.
As reported by Goal and others, Ziyech failed a medical with the Saudi Arabian outfit because of a supposed knee issue, but the player refuted those claims on Instagram.
And now, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the winger:
“At the moment, the situation is quiet around Hakim Ziyech after his move to Al Nassr fell through,” Romano said. “For sure all parties will try to find the best solution together in the next days. “As he’s hinted on social media, Ziyech believes that many stories in the recent days were not correct, I’m sure he will clarify his position soon.”
