Chelsea set to sign four more players in January transfer window

Chelsea’s busy window is set to continue into the final week.

The Blues had a very active summer under Todd Boehly that saw them break the record for most money spent in a single transfer window.

Such spending may have led people to believe they would have a quiet January, but that has been far from the case.

Mykhaylo Mudryk, Benoit Badiashile, Noni Madueke, Andrey Santos, David Fofana and Joao Felix have already arrived through the door this winter.

And one more signing in January would more than likely take the west Londoner’s spending to above the £200m mark for January alone.

It is not just one signing Chelsea want to make before the window is through, though, with it claimed on Wednesday that Graham Potter and co. want four more signings.

As per the Evening Standard: “Chelsea have already spent close to £200million this month, but still want four more deals through the door before next week’s deadline.

Including the aforementioned Anthony Gordon, the Blues are also actively pursuing top target Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Tottenham target Pedro Porro according to various reports.

It’s been a bumper window already and looks likely to get even busier at Stamford Bridge and Cobham. Just under seven days to go!”
