Arsenal ready to open to talks over Adrien Rabiot deal but face one major hurdle

Arsenal are keen to sign Adrien Rabiot but face one major hurdle to land him…

Following a very successful World Cup, Adrien Rabiot has caught the eye of many top clubs.

The midfielder played a key role in helping France reach the World Cup final for the second tournament running.

At Juventus though, life hasn’t been so easy with the 27-year-old receiving much criticism from the club’s supporters and the media.

But now, Arsenal could offer him an exit from Turin and a deal is likely to be discussed.

Arsenal ready to discuss Rabiot deal

Arsenal are ready to negotiate a deal for Rabiot, according to La Repubblica.

Juventus want around €15 million for the midfielder.

However, the potential stumbling block in a deal is the player’s massive €10 million salary request.

The Gunners would not be able to match his mother and agent’s demand.

But in any case, the idea of Mikel Arteta’s side is to try to bring the Frenchman immediately to London.

Massimiliano Allegri is happy with Rabiot’s performance this season and wants to keep him until June.

Especially with Pogba’s injury being a real concern for the Juventus coaches.

But with his contract soon up and Juve’s financial troubles, Juve’s board may opt to cash in.
