The player they are targeting is PSV and Netherlands hitman, Cody Gakpo.
According to a report from Fichajes, Arsenal are one of the most interested clubs in signing the 23-year-old and Mikel Arteta is keen on adding the Dutchman to his attack.
Cody Gakpo has spent his entire career on the books of hometown club, PSV.
The Eindhoven-native has featured on 159 occasions for PSV’s senior side. In these games, he has scored 55 and assisted 50.
Gakpo, who made his senior Netherlands debut in June of 2021, has also impressed at the 2022 World Cup.
Gakpo was linked with a move to the Premier League at the start of the season as well, and it will be interesting to see if the Gunners can lure him to London this time around when facing competition from Manchester United.
