The player in question is Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League at the end of the season.
As per Spanish outlet AS, the 20-year-old has made quite the name for himself in the Spanish league with his performances this season and the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal are keeping tabs on him.
Newcastle are also keen on the player and sent scouts to watch him in action earlier this month.
Veiga has a contract with the Spanish club until the summer of 2026 and he is valued at around €30m.
Veiga is a product of Celta Vigo’s academy. He is naturally a no.10 but he can also operate as an 8 and has even played a few games on the right-wing.
The youngster has made 40 appearances for Celta Vigo, with 25 of those outings coming in 2022/23. In said outings, he has scored six goals and provided two assists.
